Galaxy Entertainment Group confirmed in May 2026 that it had filed a licence application for a second integrated resort on Al Marjan Island, a short distance from the Wynn development. The Macau operator is pitching an Asian-market-focused property with a strong MICE component, arguing Ras Al Khaimah can sustain two complementary resorts the way Sentosa does in Singapore.
