MGM Resorts International’s planned Abu Dhabi integrated resort, anchored on the Yas Bay waterfront steps from Etihad Arena. Awarded the country’s second commercial gaming facility licence in July 2026, the project is expected to pair a significant gaming offering with the entertainment-first formula MGM has honed in Las Vegas and Macau. An opening in 2029 is being discussed internally, though MGM has not committed publicly to a date.
