Big Ticket Winners 2026: Aug–Oct Millionaires and the Dh25 Million 3 November Draw
Big Ticket's Aug–Oct winners (Herboso, Aftab, Azucena), the Dh25 million Series 292 draw on 3 November, and the switch to gold-bar prizes.

Last updated: 19 October 2026
Three people have won Big Ticket's grand prize since August. Reynaldo Herboso won Dh20 million on 3 August with a ticket shared by ten friends. Shaukat Aftab won Dh15 million on 3 September, and Bernadette Azucena won Dh20 million on 3 October. The next live draw, Series 292 on 3 November at 7:30pm, has a Dh25 million grand prize. For this series Big Ticket has also replaced its cash consolation and weekly prizes with 200-gram, 24-karat gold bars.
Key takeaways
- Series 289 (3 August): Dh20 million to Reynaldo Herboso, a Filipino in Dubai, on ticket 267822, bought with a group of ten.
- Series 290 (3 September): Dh15 million to Shaukat Aftab, a Pakistani national, on ticket 245556, bought online.
- Series 291 (3 October): Dh20 million to Bernadette Azucena, a Filipina living in Ajman, on ticket 013075, bought online.
- Series 292 (3 November, 7:30pm): Dh25 million grand prize. Five consolation prizes and four weekly e-draw prizes each week are 200g 24k gold bars instead of cash.
- Tickets cost Dh500 including VAT, and the site currently offers "Buy 2 tickets, Get 2 Free". Big Ticket does not cap or publish ticket sales, so the odds can't be known in advance.
Who won the Big Ticket in August 2026?
Reynaldo Herboso, a 61-year-old Filipino bakery employee who has lived in Dubai since 1988, won the Dh20 million grand prize in the Series 289 draw on 3 August, according to Khaleej Times. His ticket, 267822, was bought on 13 July by a group of ten friends from the Philippines, India and Bangladesh. Gulf News reported that each share is worth Dh2 million. He told Gulf News he had bought Big Ticket for 15 years.
The group purchase is common among recent winners. Big Ticket's record Dh35 million prize, in January 2023, also went to a group ticket: Khaleej Times reported that the winner had bought it with 20 friends.
Who won Big Ticket in September 2026?
Shaukat Aftab, a Pakistani national, won the Dh15 million grand prize in the Series 290 draw on 3 September. Big Ticket's official winners page lists his ticket as 245556, bought online. All five consolation prizes in that series were Dh100,000 cash, and the weekly e-draws paid Dh25,000 each.
That was half the size of the year's opening prize: Dh30 million, won on 3 January by Anna Lee Gayongan, a Filipino expat in Dubai.
Who won the Big Ticket Dh20 million in October 2026?
Bernadette Azucena, a Filipina living in Ajman, won the Dh20 million grand prize in the Series 291 draw on 3 October with ticket 013075. Gulf News reported that the winning ticket was picked on stage by the previous winner, Shaukat Aftab. The organisers could not reach her by phone during the show, and Gulf News said she would appear at next month's draw. The official winners page records the ticket as bought online.
The Series 291 consolation prizes were tiered, totalling Dh1.95 million:
Consolation prize — Amount — Winner's home (per Gulf News)
- 1st — Dh1,000,000 — Abu Dhabi
- 2nd — Dh500,000 — Ajman
- 3rd — Dh250,000 — Muscat
- 4th and 5th — Dh100,000 each — Dubai, Ajman
The Dh1 million consolation went to Sunil Kumar, an Indian resident of Abu Dhabi, according to Gulf News. He is not the UAE Lottery's Dh30 million winner Sunil Kumar Sadasivan. The names are similar, but the winners, draws and operators are different.
In the same draw, Waseem Khan, an Indian expat living in Dubai, won a Nissan Patrol in the separate Dream Car draw.
How much is the Big Ticket grand prize on 3 November?
Dh25 million. Big Ticket's ticket page advertises "the AED 25 Million Grand Prize, 3x Big Spin prizes of up to AED 1 Million, 5x Gold Bar Consolation Prizes, and 4x Weekly Gold Bar Prizes", with the live draw on 3 November. Series 292 is drawn at 7:30pm UAE time at the operator's studio in Abu Dhabi, and streamed on its website and YouTube.
That is Dh5 million more than in August and October and Dh10 million more than in September. It is still below January's Dh30 million and the Dh35 million record set in 2023.
Why has Big Ticket switched to gold bars?
The operator has not given a public reason. What has changed is clear from its own winners pages:
- Consolation prizes: Series 290 paid five Dh100,000 cash prizes. Series 291 paid a tiered Dh1.95 million in cash. Series 292 replaces them with five 200g, 24-karat gold bars.
- Weekly e-draws: in Series 290 and 291, each weekly e-draw paid four Dh25,000 cash prizes. In Series 292, each weekly e-draw awards four 200g gold bars. Gulf News confirms the four bars per e-draw.
The first two gold-bar e-draws took place on 8 and 15 October. The official page lists four winners on each date, a total of eight bars, to ticket holders from India, the Philippines and Pakistan.
One practical difference: the cash value of a gold bar moves with the gold price, while a cash prize does not. Big Ticket does not state a dirham value for the bars, so we have not given one.
What is the Big Spin, and who can enter?
The Big Spin is a prize wheel for three ticket holders, each spinning for up to Dh1 million. Gulf News reports that anyone who buys at least one Big Ticket during October can be chosen at the 3 November live draw as one of three Big Spin participants. They then spin at the 3 December draw.
Big Ticket's draw rules (version 20260716v1.1) contain a catch. A ticket picked for the Big Spin "will be removed from the Big Ticket Monthly Draw and will not be eligible to win any prize in that draw." The spin replaces your chance at the grand prize; it does not add to it.
What else is drawn on 3 November?
The Dream Car draw, which is separate from the cash raffle. A golden Range Rover Velar will be drawn on 3 November, and a Nissan Patrol on 3 December, according to Gulf News. Big Ticket's draw rules put the Dream Car ticket at Dh150 including VAT.
How much is a Big Ticket, and what are the odds?
A ticket costs Dh500 including VAT, according to the official draw rules. The ticket page currently offers "Buy 2 tickets, Get 2 Free". Tickets are sold online at bigticket.ae and at counters at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi and at Al Ain Airport. Big Ticket's help desk says there is no outlet in Dubai.
The odds are not published, and the operator explains why: "There is no cap on entries. Winners are selected at random from all valid tickets for that draw, so the odds depend on the total number of valid entries and cannot be fixed in advance." Any website quoting precise Big Ticket odds is guessing. Winning tickets are drawn by hand from a physical raffle drum.
Is Big Ticket legal in the UAE?
Yes. In December 2024 the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) said that Big Ticket and Dubai Duty Free, "airport lotteries that have been operating for approximately 30 years", are authorised to continue under its supervision. All other preexisting lotteries were ordered to shut down. The UAE Lottery holds the only lottery licence. Our legal status guide has the detail.
A prize draw is still a paid gamble with long odds. Buy only from bigticket.ae or the airport counters, and set a limit you can afford to lose.
