Every UAE Lottery Dh5 Million Winner So Far
All four UAE Lottery Dh5m second-prize winners, with draw numbers and dates: Govinthan, Tekram, Garceles and Kishore. Plus the odds and the 1-in-12 rule.

Last updated: 18 October 2026
Four tickets have won the UAE Lottery's Dh5 million second prize since it was raised to that amount in December 2025: Murugananth Govinthan in February, Branden Tekram in April, Zenn Ariane Garceles in August and a Sharjah resident published as Kishore in October 2026. All four matched the six "Days" numbers and missed only the single Month number. This list covers every Lucky Day draw up to No. 261014 on 14 October 2026, using only names the operator or mainstream UAE outlets have published.
Key takeaways
- Four Dh5 million second prizes have been won: draws 260214 (14 February), 260429 (29 April), 260815 (15 August) and 261003 (3 October 2026).
- Garceles, a Filipina living in Dubai, became the lottery's "first female millionaire", according to The National. Tekram's was the first Dh5 million prize won in a Wednesday draw.
- Kishore, 59, an Indian in Sharjah, won with a Dh50 Easy Pick ticket bought online; only his first name has been published.
- The published odds of the second prize are 1 in 803,216 per Dh50 ticket. The official prize table marks it, like the Dh30 million jackpot, as a shared prize.
- In the same period two tickets matched all seven numbers for the Dh30 million jackpot, so six tickets in total have matched all six Days numbers since the December 2025 relaunch.
Who has won Dh5 million in the UAE Lottery?
Draw — Date — Winner (as published) — Profile
- 260214 — Sat 14 Feb 2026 — Murugananth Govinthan — Indian, 42; first ticket, shared with a friend
- 260429 — Wed 29 Apr 2026 — Branden Tekram — South African, 39, Dubai
- 260815 — Sat 15 Aug 2026 — Zenn Ariane Garceles — Filipina, 38, Dubai; 13 years in the UAE
- 261003 — Sat 3 Oct 2026 — Kishore — Indian, 59, Sharjah; Easy Pick, online
Each was the only winning ticket in its tier that night, so none of the four prizes had to be split between tickets.
Murugananth Govinthan: the first, on a first ticket
The Dh5 million second prize dates from December 2025, when the lottery cut its jackpot from Dh100 million to Dh30 million and raised the second tier from Dh1 million to Dh5 million; the revamped game began on 6 December. It took ten weeks to fall. In draw 260214 on Saturday 14 February, the Days numbers were 11, 19, 28, 15, 31 and 7; the Month number, 3, went unmatched by the winning ticket.
Gulf News named the winner on 25 February as Murugananth Govinthan, a 42-year-old Indian. It was the first lottery ticket he had bought, and he bought it with a close friend, so the Dh5 million was split between the two of them. He told the paper his family still lived in a rented house and had always wanted to build a home of their own.
Branden Tekram: the first Wednesday winner
The second Dh5 million arrived in draw 260429 on Wednesday 29 April 2026, with Days numbers 1, 11, 19, 21, 22 and 31. It was the first time the second prize had been won on the newer Wednesday draw night; Khaleej Times headlined it as the UAE Lottery's "first Wednesday draw prize". Industry outlet Yogonet reported it as the "second AED 5 million winner in two months".
The winner, Branden Tekram, is a 39-year-old South African living in Dubai. He told Khaleej Times his plans would not change, and that the money would help his wife realise a project the couple had been working towards.
Zenn Ariane Garceles: the first woman
Draw 260815 on Saturday 15 August produced the third. The Days numbers were 18, 9, 5, 27, 21 and 3, and the operator first published the winner as "Zenn G**", which Khaleej Times reported the next day under the headline "third one so far".
The full name followed. The National identified her on 31 August as Zenn Ariane Garceles, a Filipina who has lived in the UAE for 13 years, and called her the lottery's "first female millionaire". Gulf News gave her age as 38. She told The National she picked her numbers at random, had played Lucky Day regularly since its early days, and found out while scrolling Instagram. Her comments were unusually focused on restraint: "When you spend it, be wise. Do not go beyond your limit."
Kishore: Easy Pick, online, Sharjah
The most recent winner, and the only one named so far by first name alone, won in draw 261003 on Saturday 3 October. The Days numbers were 12, 17, 4, 5, 18 and 14; the Month number was 10. Gulf News reported the next day that the official site showed the winner as Kishore with the surname initial R.
The lottery's press release, published on 14 October, filled in the rest. Kishore is a 59-year-old Indian living in Sharjah. He paid Dh50 for a ticket on the official UAE Lottery platform and let the system choose his numbers with Easy Pick. "I saw my name in the news, but I couldn't believe it was me," he said in the release.
Neither the operator nor the press has numbered him, but the record makes him the fourth Dh5 million winner. Khaleej Times called Garceles the third, and the Khaleej Times and Gulf News results reports for all 13 Lucky Day draws between 19 August and 30 September record no second-prize winner.
How hard is the Dh5 million prize to win?
The published odds are 1 in 803,216 per ticket, against 1 in 8,835,372 for the Dh30 million jackpot. Those figures follow from the game's design. There are 736,281 ways to choose six numbers from 31, and 12 possible Month numbers. A ticket that matches all six Days numbers wins the jackpot if its Month number also matches (1 in 12) and the second prize if it does not (11 in 12).
That ratio gives a useful check on the record so far. Since the December 2025 relaunch, six tickets have matched all six Days numbers: the four second-prize winners above and the two Dh30 million jackpot winners, Tayab Khan in draw 260527 and Sunil Kumar Sadasivan in draw 260701. On the arithmetic alone, you would expect roughly one in twelve such tickets to hit the Month as well, not two in six. Six results is far too few to read anything into; it is a reminder that a run like this is luck, not a pattern.
For context on the money: 803,216 tickets at Dh50 each is about Dh40.2 million of spending for every expected second-prize win. The game's published return to player is 42.62 per cent plus the Lucky Chance prizes, measured against the ticket price before VAT.
Why the winners' names are made public
Players sometimes ask why the lottery publishes names, nationalities and photographs. The answer is in the operator's terms and conditions. Anyone who wins Dh100,000 or more consents to the lottery "publicly disclosing and publishing your identity and image" to market its games (clause 2.13), and agrees to take part in reasonable publicity (clause 18.1). The one exception is a winner who objects in writing on cultural, religious or other reasonable grounds, which the operator decides at its discretion.
In practice the operator publishes a first name and partial surname on its website within a day or so, and full names arrive later through press releases and interviews, if at all. That is why our list shows Kishore by first name only: we name winners only as the operator or mainstream outlets have published them. One recent Dh100,000 winner appears on the official results feed as "Anonymous", so the publicity clause does not always mean a name goes public.
Has anyone won Dh5 million twice?
No. Four different players have won it, and no repeat winner has been reported. Every second-prize winner whose home has been published lives in the UAE. That fits the rules for online play, which require an account holder to be a UAE resident aged 18 or over; retail tickets need only physical presence in the UAE and an age of 18.
FAQ
How many people have won Dh5 million in the UAE Lottery? Four, up to draw 261014 on 14 October 2026: Murugananth Govinthan, Branden Tekram, Zenn Ariane Garceles and Kishore.
