UAE Lottery Winners: Every Grand Prize Winner So Far

This is a living list of every top-prize winner of The UAE Lottery, the country's only licensed lottery, run by The Game LLC under the oversight of the federal regulator, the GCGRA. We update it after each draw. As of the most recent draw (No. 260805, 5 August 2026), five players or groups have won a grand or second prize worth Dh5 million or more: one Dh100 million jackpot, two Dh30 million jackpots and two Dh5 million second prizes.

Anilkumar Bolla: the Dh100 million Diwali win

Bolla remains the biggest lottery winner in UAE history, and likely always will be. On 18 October 2025, in the 23rd Lucky Day draw (No. 251018), he matched the full set of numbers to win Dh100 million, the first and only time that jackpot was won. The timing fell on Diwali night, which Bolla himself described as an exceptional blessing in the operator's announcement on 27 October 2025.

The record is now untouchable by design. When The UAE Lottery revamped its format on 6 December 2025, the jackpot dropped from Dh100 million to Dh30 million, and the final Dh100 million draw on 29 November 2025 went unclaimed. Bolla, a long-time Abu Dhabi resident, is therefore permanently alone at the top of this list.

Murugananth Govinthan: Dh5 million on a first ticket

The first big winner under the new format came on 14 February 2026, when the Dh30 million jackpot rolled over but one player matched all six Days numbers without the Months number, taking the Dh5 million second prize in draw 260214. The operator initially published only a first name, but the winner was later identified as Murugananth Govinthan, a 42-year-old Indian resident. His story has an unusual twist: it was the first lottery ticket he had ever bought, and he had purchased it jointly with a close friend, with whom he shared the prize.

Branden Tekram: Dh5 million on a Wednesday night

The second Dh5 million prize fell on 29 April 2026, in draw 260429, one of the first Wednesday draws after the lottery moved to a twice-weekly schedule in April 2026. The winner was Branden Tekram, a 39-year-old South African living in Dubai, who said the moment felt surreal. His win was also a first of sorts: the first major prize to land on the new Wednesday draw night, a point the operator made when it announced the win in early May.

Tayab Khan: the first Dh30 million jackpot

Nearly five months after the Dh30 million jackpot was introduced, someone finally won it. On 27 May 2026, Eid Al Adha night, draw 260527 produced the first grand prize winner of the new era. The operator teased the identity as "Tayab K" on 28 May before naming him fully on 2 June: Tayab Khan, a Nepalese resident of Abu Dhabi.

Two details make the win distinctive. Khan is 26 and works as a security guard, and he does not keep the Dh30 million to himself: he played as part of a group and is sharing the prize with four friends. It remains the largest group win in the lottery's short history.

Sunil Kumar Sadasivan: the second Dh30 million in five weeks

The gap between the first Dh30 million jackpot and the second was just five weeks. On 1 July 2026, draw 260701, Sunil Kumar Sadasivan, a 52-year-old Indian technician living in Abu Dhabi, matched all seven winning numbers. The operator revealed his identity on 7 July. Sadasivan told Gulf News he picked the numbers from family birth dates and plans to leave his job and return home to Kerala. Two jackpot winners in five weeks, both Abu Dhabi residents, both from South Asia: the pattern says more about who plays the lottery than about any trend in the numbers themselves.

How the top prizes work

Since the December 2025 revamp, a Lucky Day ticket costs Dh50 including VAT. Players pick six numbers from 1 to 31 (the Days) plus one number from 1 to 12 (the Months). Matching all seven wins the Dh30 million jackpot, at odds of roughly one in 8.8 million; matching the six Days without the Months wins the Dh5 million second prize, at roughly one in 803,000. Both top prizes are split if more than one ticket matches. Draws run twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and when nobody wins the jackpot it rolls over to the next draw. We revise this page after every Lucky Day draw, using the operator's published results and winner announcements, cross-checked against Gulf News and Khaleej Times reporting. The UAE Lottery typically reveals only a winner's first name and nationality at first, with fuller identities following days or weeks later, so entries here can grow after the draw date. The latest draw covered is No. 260805 of 5 August 2026, in which the jackpot, second prize and third prize all went unclaimed and only the three guaranteed Lucky Chance prizes were paid. Has anyone won Dh100 million in the UAE? Yes, once. Anilkumar Bolla won Dh100 million on 18 October 2025. The jackpot was reduced to Dh30 million in December 2025, so that figure cannot be repeated.

Who won the last UAE Lottery draw? In draw 260805 on 5 August 2026, the only winners were the three guaranteed Lucky Chance raffle prizes of Dh50,000 each; the Dh30 million jackpot, Dh5 million second prize and even the Dh100,000 third prize all went unclaimed and roll over.
