Wynn Al Marjan jobs and careers: how the 2026 hiring drive works

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Wynn Al Marjan Island is hiring around 2,750 people during 2026, building a workforce of 3,000 by 31 December as it readies the UAE's first licensed gaming resort in Ras Al Khaimah. Well over a hundred roles are already live at wynnalmarjanisland.com/careers, and the single biggest intake, covering line staff in every department, is scheduled for September 2026. Here is what is hiring, when, and exactly how to apply.

Key takeaways

  • Roughly 2,750 hires are planned for 2026, taking headcount from 251 at the end of 2025 to 3,000 by 31 December 2026.
  • Senior and specialist roles are filled on a rolling basis now; the primary mass-recruitment wave is scheduled for September 2026.
  • Every application runs through wynnalmarjanisland.com/careers. Never pay anyone to apply: legitimate UAE employers do not charge candidates fees.
  • Most openings are classic luxury-hospitality jobs. Casino experience matters for gaming roles, and key gaming staff fall under the GCGRA's individual licensing rules.
  • Wynn flagged a "modest" opening delay in May 2026 and confirmed the new date with its Q2 results on 4 August 2026: the resort opens in September 2027. Its hiring targets have not been publicly revised.

The numbers behind the drive

The 2,750 target comes from Wynn Resorts' 2025 annual report, which put the resort's headcount at 251 at the end of last year, mostly senior executives, management and administrative staff. Line-staff onboarding will "rapidly increase over the course of 2026", with 3,000 employees targeted by 31 December.

Vacancy counts show the machine winding up: 112 roles advertised in mid-February, 137 by late February, 182 counted by one aggregator in May.

Michael Weaver, Wynn Resorts' chief communications officer, puts total job creation above 7,500, with the annual report projecting 9,000-plus direct and indirect roles across the emirates.

What roles are on offer

Gaming and casino

This is the category no other UAE employer can offer. Listings so far include four regional vice presidents of casino marketing, a director of gaming marketing performance, card room managers, table games operations supervisors and a regulatory gaming compliance manager. The UAE has no domestic casino talent pool, so experience from Macau, Las Vegas, Singapore or London jumps the queue.

Food and beverage

Wynn is running a global search for more than 3,500 F&B colleagues to staff 22 restaurants and lounges plus a beach club. The leadership team named in February, led by senior vice president Soumya Goswami, signals the scale: executive sous chefs across Lebanese, Greek, Italian and Indo-Persian concepts, general managers for venues such as the Delilah supper club and Alain Ducasse steakhouse, and specialists from dim sum to butchery.

Hotel operations and corporate functions

Any 1,530-room resort also needs housekeepers, front office and guest services, spa, events and retail staff, plus finance, payroll, IT, legal, marketing and HR behind the scenes. Stand-out listings include a yacht captain for the marina and a director of floral operations.

The hiring timeline

Management and specialist hiring happens now, on a rolling basis. If a role fits, apply; these positions do not wait for a formal campaign.

The mass intake is scheduled for September 2026, roughly six months before opening. Weaver set out that sequence at Arabian Travel Market 2025: hiring across all areas, from room attendants and bartenders to finance, marketing and IT. "It's like a small city," he said.

One caveat. In May, Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings told investors the opening faces a "modest delay" from supply-chain and logistics problems linked to the regional conflict; the company confirmed on 4 August 2026 that the resort opens in September 2027. No updated hiring guidance has followed, so treat September and the year-end target as announced plans, not guarantees. See what the delay means for the opening date.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Go to wynnalmarjanisland.com/careers. We checked the portal this week: roles are grouped by department, with People & Culture, Finance and IT among the categories shown.
  2. Pick a listing. You will be routed to Wynn's recruitment platform at careers.wynnalmarjanisland.com, where you create a profile, upload your CV and track your application.
  3. Tailor your CV to the role: put international casino experience in the first lines for gaming positions, UAE or international luxury-hotel experience for hospitality ones.
  4. Follow Wynn Al Marjan Island's LinkedIn page for alerts; all channels feed the same system, so applying twice gains you nothing.
  5. Then wait. Wynn publishes no response timelines, and with global competition, weeks of silence are normal rather than a rejection.

Pay, benefits and where you would live

Wynn advertises "an attractive salary, an excellent leave policy, a healthcare package, as well as life insurance, incentive programmes, and other employee benefits." Salary bands are not published.

Housing is the stand-out benefit. Oasis: A Wynn Community, which begins welcoming team members in 2026, spans 26 acres and will house more than 7,000 colleagues, about 80 per cent of the team, in 15 residential buildings a 15-minute drive from the resort. Apartments come with private bathrooms, fitted kitchens and a weekly linen laundry service. Shared facilities include a gym, two pools, a cinema, six staff dining outlets and a guest building for visiting family. Wynn University, an on-site training campus, sits inside the community.

"We believe that exceptional guest experiences begin with how we care for our people," said Wynn Al Marjan Island president Max Tappeiner. Rent and eligibility terms are not public, so ask at offer stage.

Gaming roles and the GCGRA question

Wynn holds the UAE's first commercial gaming operator licence, granted by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in October 2024. The regulator's framework also covers individuals: its published guide requires licences for "key persons" such as directors and executive officers, and law-firm summaries list a separate "gaming employees" category for venue staff.

Neither Wynn nor the regulator has said publicly how licensing will work for rank-and-file roles like dealers, or on what timeline. Expect background checks for any gaming-floor position; treat the portal and GCGRA guidance as authoritative as details emerge. All Wynn staff complete annual responsible-gaming training. See our UAE gaming licence tracker for the wider picture.

Reality checks before you apply

Competition is global; senior roles draw hundreds of applicants from every major gaming and hospitality market.

Timelines can move. The September wave was announced before the delay flag, and Wynn has not restated it since. Keep your profile active rather than banking on one date.

Watch for scams. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation warned in late 2025 about fake job offers and visa fraud: a genuine employer never asks you to pay for a visa, recruitment or training, and charging candidates recruitment fees is banned under Article 6(4) of the UAE Labour Law. Apply only through the official portal or Wynn's verified LinkedIn page, and question anyone asking for money.
