Dubai Duty Free Draw Results October 2026: Kosovo's First Millionaire, a Saudi and Two Indians
Four US$1m Dubai Duty Free winners in October 2026, including Kosovo's first, plus the Finest Surprise car and bike winners and the next draw.

Last updated: 6 November 2026
The Dubai Duty Free draw results for October 2026 produced four US$1 million winners across three draw dates: an Indian engineer from Al Ain on 7 October, a Kosovar businessman and a Saudi national on 21 October, and an Indian ticket holder, Govidan Nair, on 30 October. The same month's Finest Surprise draws handed out three cars and five motorbikes, one of them to a man winning his third Dubai Duty Free bike. After six Indian winners in a row from 26 August to 7 October, October's list was noticeably more international.
Key takeaways
- Four US$1 million winners in October 2026: Series 559 (7 October), 560 and 561 (21 October) and 562 (30 October), according to Dubai Duty Free's official winners list.
- Liridon Selmani is the first winner from Kosovo since the Millennium Millionaire launched in 1999, Gulf News reported. He had entered since a 2016 holiday in Dubai.
- All four October millionaires bought their tickets online, according to Dubai Duty Free.
- Series 562 was drawn on Friday 30 October, off the usual Wednesday pattern. As of 4 November Dubai Duty Free had published the winner's name but no press release.
- Melwin Pontes won a Ducati Panigale V2 on 21 October, his third motorbike from Dubai Duty Free in about a year.
Who won the Dubai Duty Free draw in October 2026?
Dubai Duty Free (DDF) runs the "Dubai airport lottery" that most people mean: the Millennium Millionaire, a US$1 million draw held at Dubai International Airport, and the Finest Surprise, which awards luxury cars and motorbikes. The table follows DDF's official winners list as it stood on 4 November 2026.
Series and ticket — Draw date — Winner and nationality — Bought
- MM559, ticket 3097 — 7 Oct 2026 — Shaheen Sahila Basheer Mohammed, India — Online
- MM560, ticket 4448 — 21 Oct 2026 — Liridon Selmani, Kosovo — Online
- MM561, ticket 0536 — 21 Oct 2026 — Mishari Aldukair, Saudi Arabia — Online
- MM562, ticket 3159 — 30 Oct 2026 — Govidan Nair, India — Online
Two of the four are Indian. That breaks a run: DDF's list shows every winner from Series 554 (26 August) to Series 559 (7 October) was Indian, six in a row. The last non-Indian winners before Selmani were a Russian and an American, both drawn on 12 August. Our running tracker, Dubai Duty Free millionaire winners since August 2026, has the full stories from that earlier run.
7 October: an Al Ain engineer, a BMW and an Aprilia
DDF's release headlined the 7 October draw, held at Concourse D, as a win for an Indian engineer from Al Ain. The National identified him as Shaheen Mohammed, 38, a senior estimation engineer at a construction company in Mussaffah who has lived in Al Ain for six years. He bought ticket 3097 on 11 September and has bought DDF tickets since 2015. He turned 39 on 16 October, nine days after the draw. "This is an early birthday gift to me too," he told The National.
The National put him at the 285th Indian national to win the Millennium Millionaire since 1999.
The same report listed two Finest Surprise winners:
- Arya Mustafa, who lives in Iraq, won a BMW (a BMW X6 M Competition, according to DDF's winners list) with ticket 1762 in Finest Surprise Series 1963, bought online on 20 August.
- Seeyali Shamsudheen, 65, an Indian living in Dubai who works in a phone accessories shop in Karama, won an Aprilia Tuono motorbike with ticket 0270 in Series 680.
21 October: the first Kosovar winner since 1999
The 21 October draw, at Concourse A, was the month's biggest. DDF's own release headline called Liridon Selmani the "First-Ever Winner from Kosovo".
According to Gulf News, Selmani is a 34-year-old businessman from Kacanik. He bought ticket 4448 in Series 560 online on 25 September and has entered since his first holiday in Dubai in 2016. "With this incredible news, my family and I will be planning another holiday to Dubai very soon!" he said.
The second millionaire, Mishari Aldukair from Saudi Arabia, bought ticket 0536 in Series 561 online on 2 October, nineteen days before the draw. Gulf News said he was not immediately available for comment, so his age and home are not public.
Four Finest Surprise prizes were drawn the same day, according to Gulf News:
Prize — Series and ticket — Winner
- Mercedes-Benz GLS 580 — FS 1965, ticket 1631 — Osama Yousif Jasim Aldoukhi, 60, Emirati, Sharjah
- Range Rover SE P360 — FS 1966, ticket 0198 — Muhyiddin Shafi, 80, Jordanian, Dubai
- Ducati Panigale V2 — Series 681, ticket 1162 — Melwin Pontes, 50, Indian
- Aprilia RSV4 1100 — Series 682, ticket 0477 — Rajesh Chempath, 42, Indian, Dubai
Shafi has played Finest Surprise for more than 15 years, Gulf News said. Aldoukhi bought his ticket online on 16 October, only five days before the draw, and Chempath bought his online on 2 October.
Did Melwin Pontes really win three motorbikes?
Yes, according to Gulf News. His Ducati Panigale V2 on 21 October followed an Aprilia RSV4 Factory 1100 in October 2025 and an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 in September 2026. That is three DDF bikes in roughly 12 months.
It is a striking run, but not evidence of a system. Each Finest Surprise draw is a separate pool, and every ticket in it has the same chance. The likeliest explanation is volume: someone who buys in many bike series has more tickets in play. That costs real money, and the losses of regular buyers who never win do not make the news.
Why was there a draw on Friday 30 October?
DDF lists Series 562, ticket 3159, as drawn on 30 October 2026 and won by Govidan Nair, an Indian national who bought online. That date was a Friday. The National describes the usual pattern as a draw every other Wednesday, and October's first two draws, on 7 and 21 October, fit it.
DDF has not explained the timing. Its news page, checked on 4 November, carried two DDF items dated 30 October (a Diwali celebration at Concourse B and a partnership announcement) but no draw release, and we found no newspaper coverage of the win. Until DDF publishes more, Govidan Nair's name, nationality, ticket number and online purchase are the only verified details.
DDF's Finest Surprise bike list shows two motorbikes drawn on the same date:
- BMW S 1000 R, Series 683, ticket 1191: Rami Mohammad Amer Alkhatib, Jordan
- Harley-Davidson Sportster S, Series 684, ticket 1024: Abhilash Padmanabhan, India
DDF's car list shows no car drawn on 30 October.
The speed is notable too. When we checked DDF's site on 17 October, Series 562 was still on sale. It sold out and was drawn within about two weeks.
When is the next Dubai Duty Free draw?
DDF has not published one. On 4 November its Millennium Millionaire page showed Series 563 as "SOLD OUT" with "DRAW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED". On 4 November Series 564 had roughly 2,570 of its 5,000 tickets left and Series 565 roughly 4,370. Those counts change through the day.
A series is drawn only once it sells out, so the next date depends on sales rather than a fixed calendar. Check DDF's Millennium Millionaire page for the date once it is posted.
What does a ticket cost, and what are the odds?
A Millennium Millionaire ticket costs AED 1,000 plus 5% VAT (Dh1,050), and each series is "Limited to 5000 Tickets". DDF itself describes this as "one-in-5,000 chances to win US$1 Million". That fixed cap sets DDF apart from Big Ticket, whose rules say "There is no cap on entries", and from The UAE Lottery's number-matching game.
A fixed chance is still a long one, and the average ticket returns less than it costs. Treat any purchase as money spent on entertainment, not as an investment. If you live outside the UAE, a win may be taxable at home: see our guide to tax on UAE lottery winnings.
Scammers also use DDF's name. Its own site warns customers not to "Fall Prey to Fraudulent Prize Winning Claims". DDF publishes winners on its website, so a message saying you have won a draw you did not enter is a red flag. Our guide to fake UAE lottery and casino apps covers the common tricks.
