Wynn Al Marjan Weddings: Coral Court Venues, Capacities and When You Can Book

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Wynn Al Marjan weddings start from late 2027. On 2 November 2026 Wynn Al Marjan Island said it is preparing to welcome celebrations from then, with Coral Court, a 7,708 sq m events centre on the resort in Ras Al Khaimah, as the main venue. Coral Court's indoor event spaces, centred on a column-free Grand Ballroom, seat up to 1,260 guests banquet-style between them, and the Event Lawn seats up to 620. Wynn has published no prices. For now the only step you can take is a free enquiry form on the resort's website.

Key takeaways

  • Wynn's 2 November 2026 release says the resort "prepares to welcome celebrations from late 2027". Wynn's Q2 2026 results put the resort's opening in September 2027.
  • Coral Court covers 7,708 sq m. Its Grand Ballroom is 2,633 sq m, and the indoor event spaces combined seat up to 1,260 for a banquet. The 1,390 sq m Event Lawn seats up to 620.
  • Outdoor event space totals 4,196 sq m across four event terraces, a figure that includes the Event Lawn. Separate Bridal and Groom's Suites are about 150 sq m each.
  • The release is built around multi-day Indian weddings (Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat and a mandap ceremony), catered by a 90-strong banquet team.
  • No prices, packages or guest-room rates are published. Wynn's website has a "Plan Your Wedding" enquiry form, but no booking engine.

When can you book a wedding at Wynn Al Marjan Island?

Not yet, in the sense of a confirmed date and contract. Wynn's release says the resort "prepares to welcome celebrations from late 2027". That sits shortly after the September 2027 opening Wynn gave with its Q2 2026 results, so the first weddings are expected once the resort is running. The release does not say when contracts or deposits will be taken.

You can register interest. The resort's website has a "Plan Your Wedding" form asking for a preferred wedding date, an alternative date, estimated guest numbers, whether guest rooms are needed, where you are in your planning ("Just beginning to explore" through to "Ready to proceed") and an optional budget range. The events page says submitting it gets you "tailored updates, comprehensive sales information, and exclusive offers ahead of the debut". It takes no payment.

That matches what we found when we checked the site's booking options in October: there are still no room rates and no reservations page. Our guide to whether you can book Wynn Al Marjan Island yet covers the wider picture, including how to spot fake "pre-booking" offers. Anyone asking for a deposit to hold a 2027 wedding date at the resort is not doing so through Wynn's published channels.

How big is Coral Court, and how many guests does it hold?

Coral Court was first unveiled in October 2025, when Wynn gave its overall size, the ballroom area and six meeting rooms of 168 to 507 sq m. The November 2026 release adds what couples actually need: guest capacities.

Space — Size — Capacity (banquet)

  • Coral Court (whole centre) — 7,708 sq m — Not stated
  • Grand Ballroom (column-free) — 2,633 sq m — Not stated separately
  • All indoor event spaces combined — Not stated — Up to 1,260
  • Event Lawn — 1,390 sq m — Up to 620
  • Four event terraces, including the Event Lawn — 4,196 sq m combined — Not stated
  • Bridal Suite / Groom's Suite — About 150 sq m each — Wedding party

The 1,260 figure is a banquet number, meaning seated at round tables, and it covers Coral Court's indoor event spaces combined, not the ballroom alone. Wynn has not published theatre-style or reception capacities, which are usually higher. The website also mentions an exclusive driveway with valet to a dedicated Coral Court entrance, pre-ceremony salons, and separate private prayer rooms for men and women.

What does the Indian wedding offer look like?

Most of the release is about Indian weddings spread over several days. "Today's weddings are rarely a single event," said Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island. He added that they unfold over several days, with ceremonies, dinners and celebrations that each need their own setting.

Wynn names each stage and suggests a setting for some of them:

  • Haldi: the release suggests it could begin beside the Arabian Gulf, or take place on board Natural 9, the resort's 43-metre private yacht.
  • Mehndi: poolside in a shaded cabana, or somewhere more intimate.
  • Sangeet: a resort restaurant, the beach at sunset, or Coral Court itself.
  • Baraat: the groom's procession, arriving by decorated white horse or supercar.
  • Hindu ceremony: held beneath a mandap, with the sacred fire and its offerings.

Catering comes from a team of 90 chefs and service staff covering Indian, Arabic, Chinese and Western cuisines. Indian menus can include vegetarian and Jain options. Wynn says cakes of up to 15 tiers will be designed by Executive Pastry Chef and Cake Artist Aizhan Tazhigulova, and that no design is repeated for another wedding.

The release does not mention fireworks, alcohol policy, or a named wedding-planning team beyond a "dedicated team" for the suites. The events page promises each event a "designated events specialist".

What are the Bridal and Groom's Suites?

Both are inside Coral Court and measure about 150 sq m each. The Bridal Suite has vanities, large mirrors and studio lighting for photography, hair and make-up. The Groom's Suite has a cigar lounge and bar, grooming vanities and a dedicated resort attendant.

"Preparation is an important part of any wedding day, and we have planned for it with the same care as the celebration itself," Tappeiner said.

Where else in the resort can a wedding spill over?

Coral Court is the core, but the release markets the whole resort as the venue, and much of the rest has been described in earlier Wynn announcements:

  • Wynn Theater: up to 900 guests per performance and home to the resident Punchdrunk show. Wynn's website breaks that down as 450 seats upstairs, 48 VIP seats downstairs and room for 402 guests to roam. The release does not say whether the theatre can be hired privately. See our Punchdrunk theatre explainer.
  • Beach and marina: a 550-metre private beach and Wynn Marina, covered in our beach, marina and Sea of Dreams guide.
  • Dining: 22 restaurants, bars and lounges plus Wynn Beach Club. The ones Wynn has named are listed in our restaurants roundup.
  • Pools and spa: 12 swimming pools and a five-star spa.

How many rooms are there for wedding guests: 1,540 or 1,530?

This is where the numbers disagree. The 2 November release gives 1,540 rooms and suites, 323 of them in Enclave, the boutique hotel on the tower's upper floors. Wynn's own rooms page, when we checked it on 4 November 2026, still said 1,530 rooms and suites, 313 of them in Enclave. Earlier coverage, including The National and Gulf Business, also used 1,530.

The difference is exactly ten Enclave suites, so the newer release appears to count ten more suites in Enclave. Wynn has not explained the change. We use 1,540 as the latest company figure and note the earlier 1,530. Either way, the resort's room count exceeds Coral Court's 1,260 indoor banquet capacity, so large weddings can house guests on site. The wedding enquiry form asks whether you need guest rooms, but no room-block pricing exists yet. Room types are in our rooms, suites and Enclave guide.

How far is it from Dubai for guests flying in?

Wynn's release says the resort is "less than 75 km" from Dubai International Airport. Our own route guide uses roughly 80 km from central Dubai, about an hour by car, with Ras Al Khaimah International Airport around 15 minutes away. Full options are in how to get to Wynn Al Marjan from Dubai.

What the release does not cover

Three gaps matter if you are planning:

  1. Price. There is no per-head figure, venue fee or package. The form's "Estimated Budget Range" field suggests pricing will be quoted case by case.
  2. Legal marriage. The release is about venues and celebrations. It says nothing about civil registration or religious solemnisation, which is a separate matter from booking a venue. Check it with the relevant UAE authorities and your officiant, not the hotel.
  3. The casino. Wedding guests will be staying at a casino resort, but Wynn and the regulator, the GCGRA, have not published entry rules for the gaming floor. We track what is known in our entry age and dress code explainer.

FAQ

What is the capacity of the Coral Court ballroom? Wynn has not given a figure for the ballroom alone. Its 2 November 2026 release says Coral Court's indoor event spaces combined, centred on the 2,633 sq m column-free Grand Ballroom, hold up to 1,260 guests banquet-style.

How much does a wedding at Wynn Al Marjan cost? Wynn has not published prices. The enquiry form asks for an estimated budget range, so expect quotes per event.
