TrueWin Deposits and Withdrawals: Botim Money, Limits and How Long Payouts Take
TrueWin deposits: seven methods at Dh60 to Dh100,000. Withdrawals: Botim Money usually instant, IBAN 1-5 business days, and deposits cannot be withdrawn.

Last updated: 7 November 2026
TrueWin deposits can be made in seven ways, from Apple Pay to Botim Money, and each one has a Dh60 minimum, a Dh100,000 maximum and is credited instantly. TrueWin withdrawals go through internal processing that the platform aims to finish within 24 hours. After that, Botim Money is usually instant (up to 24 hours) and a bank transfer to an IBAN takes one to five business days. The rule that catches people out: TrueWin says money you deposit is for betting only and cannot be withdrawn directly. Only winnings can be cashed out.
Key takeaways
- TrueWin lists seven deposit methods: Apple Pay, bank card, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Botim Money, Aani and instant bank transfer. Each has a Dh60 minimum and a Dh100,000 maximum, and each is credited instantly.
- Withdrawals: TrueWin aims to approve them internally within 24 hours. Botim Money payouts are then "usually instant" (up to 24 hours), and IBAN bank transfers take one to five business days.
- In TrueWin's words, deposited funds "cannot be withdrawn directly". Only winnings and "eligible balances" can be withdrawn.
- TrueWin's footer says "All money will be held by Botim Money in a regulated account". Botim Money is the former PayBy, renamed in October 2025 and licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE.
- A Botim Money wallet must be opened with the same Emirates ID as your TrueWin account, and an IBAN for withdrawals must be in your own name.
- Older third-party guides that still mention PayBy or one-to-two-day payouts are out of date.
What changed: from PayBy to Botim Money
Our TrueWin explainer covers who runs the brand and how it is licensed. When it was first published in July, TrueWin's payments were described around PayBy, with withdrawals in one to two days via PayBy and three to five days by bank. TrueWin's own pages now say something different, and we have updated that explainer to match.
PayBy no longer exists under that name. Astra Tech, described by Gulf Business as "the consumer arm of the G42 ecosystem", renamed it "botim money" on 7 October 2025. Gulf Business reported at the time that botim money is licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE as both a retail payment services provider and a stored value facility. TrueWin's site footer now reads: "All money will be held by Botim Money in a regulated account."
TrueWin's privacy notice says the platform is run by Coin Technology Projects LLC, the only company on the federal regulator's register for internet gaming and sports wagering. The register names companies, not brands. We profile that company in our Coin Technology Projects explainer.
What are TrueWin's deposit methods and limits?
TrueWin's help centre lists seven methods, all with identical limits:
Method — Minimum — Maximum — Speed
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay — Dh60 — Dh100,000 — Instant
- Bank card — Dh60 — Dh100,000 — Instant
- Botim Money — Dh60 — Dh100,000 — Instant
- Aani, instant bank transfer — Dh60 — Dh100,000 — Instant
The list contains no cryptocurrency, no voucher and no offshore e-wallet. Every route runs through a UAE card, a UAE bank account or a UAE-licensed wallet, so each deposit leaves a record tied to your identity.
The Dh60 minimum is six times Play971's. The group's other brand accepts Dh10, and its card deposits go up to Dh200,000. Our Play971 deposits guide covers that platform. We compare the two brands side by side in a separate piece.
Why can't I deposit with my card?
TrueWin says card deposits can fail "due to the type of card being used or the country in which it was issued". It names ten UAE banks whose cards tend to work better: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain, Emirates NBD, Wio Bank, Mashreq, National Bank of Fujairah, Commercial Bank of Dubai, National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah and Al Hilal Bank.
If a card is declined, TrueWin suggests two alternatives. One is instant bank transfer, which links your UAE bank account directly. The other is Botim Money, where you can top up the wallet by card and then transfer to TrueWin.
How do Botim Money deposits work?
TrueWin's instructions are specific. Download the Botim Money app and create an account "using the same Emirates ID registered on your TrueWin account". Fund the wallet with Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard or a linked bank account. Then choose Botim Money on TrueWin's deposit page and approve the payment in the wallet.
The matching Emirates ID is the important part. KYC verification on TrueWin accepts only an Emirates ID, and passports are rejected, so neither the betting account nor the wallet link works without one.
Can you deposit cash on TrueWin?
Not directly, but TrueWin's help centre explains an indirect route through Botim Money kiosks. In the Botim Money app you tap "add funds", choose "deposit cash" and find a nearby kiosk. At the kiosk you enter your registered mobile number or scan a QR code, confirm the masked name shown, insert the notes and keep the printed receipt with its transaction reference. Once the cash is in the wallet, you deposit it to TrueWin like any other Botim Money payment. The receipt is your evidence if the wallet is not credited.
How long does a TrueWin withdrawal take?
TrueWin's help centre describes it in two stages:
- Internal processing. "We aim to process it internally within 24 hours."
- Transfer. After approval, a Botim Money wallet is "usually instant, but can take up to 24 hours in some cases", and TrueWin recommends this route. A bank transfer to an IBAN takes "1–5 business days once approved".
Taken together, a Botim Money withdrawal can take up to about two days in the worst case. An IBAN withdrawal requested on a Thursday could take more than a week if approval and the bank stage both run to their limits over a weekend. You request a withdrawal from your profile menu, enter the amount and choose the method. Any IBAN you add must be "registered under your own name".
We found no public TrueWin page that states a minimum or maximum withdrawal amount, or any fee. Ask support before you rely on either.
Can you withdraw the money you deposited?
TrueWin says no, in capital letters. Its help article says the deposit amount "is dedicated to betting ONLY and CANNOT be withdrawn. ONLY the prize money you win from betting is WITHDRAWABLE." The deposit-methods page says the same thing more softly: deposited funds "cannot be withdrawn directly", and only "winnings and eligible balances" can be.
In practice, depositing Dh500 and changing your mind is not like moving money between bank accounts. Under these rules, the deposit stays on the platform until it is bet. Decide how much you can afford to lose before you deposit, not after.
The same logic applies to promotional credit. TrueWin's help centre says a refer-a-friend "bonus amount itself is not withdrawable"; only winnings made with it can be withdrawn.
What tools and complaint routes does TrueWin offer?
TrueWin's public responsible-gaming section has one article. It explains how to set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit, with a timeframe "from 24 hours up to 30 days". Because deposits cannot be withdrawn, a deposit limit is the most useful control on the platform.
For payment disputes, TrueWin describes three stages. First, customer service by live chat or email. Second, a formal complaint form, answered by managers "within 10 business days". Third, escalation to senior management. Keep screenshots, transaction references and kiosk receipts.
If you are depositing more than you planned, or chasing losses, our guide to responsible gambling help in the UAE lists confidential support available in the country.
Who can deposit on TrueWin?
TrueWin is open only to people aged 21 or over who are physically in the UAE and have an Emirates ID for KYC. TrueWin publishes no list of emirates it covers. Play971, its sister brand, says it is not available in Dubai. Our TrueWin cricket betting guide sets out what is known about the Dubai question.
